JULFIKAR XTRA B420DWR
JULFIKAR STEEL produce ASTM A615/615 M Grade 60 steel, marketed as JULFIKAR XTRA B420 DWR. This Grade 60 reinforcement is specifically designed for Special Moment Resisting Frames (SMRF) in earthquake-resistant structures, meeting the minimum tension-to-yield (T/Y) ratio of 1.25. JULFIKAR XTRA B420DWR complies with the U.S. national standard ASTM A615/615 M Grade 60 and BDS ISO 6935-2; 2021 Grade 420. It is endorsed by the latest codes from the American Concrete Institute (ACI 318-2019) and the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC 2020). Both the BNBC 2020 and ACI 2019 emphasize that buildings in earthquake-prone regions should incorporate Special Moment Frames (SMF), reinforced with high "strain hardening" steel.
